Images zones can be used to add branded backgrounds or other images to be on your Launcher.
- To add one, click on the “Images” icon in the toolbar and when prompted add a name to your Image zone and click save.
- An image zone will be added to your canvas filled with placeholder stock images. To replace these with your image of choice double click on the image zone on the editor canvas. Select both the stock photos by clicking on them and click on the bin icon in the toolbar along the top of the screen and click Yes when prompted if you wish to delete the images.
- Click on the “Plus” icon within the dashed box then click on “Select files” to add your image of choice from your computer. To ensure that the image remains static when used as a background, after the image has successfully imported, click on the gear icon in the toolbar.
- In the menu under the drop-down menu titled “Animation” select the “Just Appearing” option then click on save to save all your changes.
You should now be returned to the canvas and see your imported image as a small rectangle on screen. To resize your image for use as a background, click on the image zone and then click on any of the red edge markers and move your mouse to pull the edge you have selected, click again to release the edge. Repeat this until the background image has filled the canvas or your image is at the size and position you desire.
Click on the Save icon in the toolbar to lock in your changes. It is important to click on the save icon every time you modify the position of a zone. If you don’t, any changes will be lost if you navigate to a different editor menu then return to the canvas.
Repeat the process above to add any further image assets to your Launcher such as school crest or company logo or any other forms of branding content.
