This document outlines the warranty policy for all Clevertouch/Boxlight products sold in the following regions: the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Sweden, Germany, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates. By purchasing and using Clevertouch products, customers agree to the terms and conditions detailed below.
1. Warranty Coverage
Clevertouch/Boxlight warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under regular use and service for the warranty period specified below.
1.1 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Interactive Flat Panel Displays
- On-site De/Re Installation Repair or Exchange
- Standard Warranty Period: Five years from the original purchase date.
- Extended Warranty: Additional warranty coverage may be available. Please consult your purchase agreement.
1.2 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Commercial and Digital Signage Flat Panel Displays
- On-site De/Re Installation Repair or Exchange
- Standard Warranty Period: Three years from the original purchase date.
- Extended Warranty: Additional warranty coverage may be available. Please consult your purchase agreement.
1.3 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Motorised Stands
- Off-Site - Return (see 3c) – Repair or Exchange and Return
- Standard Warranty Period: One year from the original purchase date.

These are non-serialised products; proof of purchase is required when requesting support and warranty replacements.
1.4 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Stand-Alone Digital Signage Players / Cleverhub v2
- Off-Site - Return (see 3c) – Repair or Exchange and Return
- Standard Warranty Period:
- Windows-based products - One years from the original purchase date.
- Android-based products - One years from the original purchase date.
- Extended Warranty: Additional warranty coverage may be available. Please consult your purchase agreement.
1.5 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Slot-In Open Pluggable Standard (OPS) Pc's
- Off-Site - Return (see 3c) – Repair or Exchange and Return
- Standard Warranty Period: One years from the original purchase date.
- Extended Warranty: Additional warranty coverage may be available. Please consult your purchase agreement.
1.6 Clevertouch/Boxlight - Room Booking Panels and Branded Accessories
- Off-Site - Return (see 3c) – Repair or Exchange and Return
- Standard Warranty Period: One year from the original purchase date.
2. Warranty Scope
This warranty covers:
- Hardware components of Clevertouch/Boxlight products.
- Repairs or replacement of defective parts at Clevertouch/Boxlight’s discretion.
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper handling.
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs.
- Damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, or external causes.
- Consumable parts such as remotes, cables and batteries unless a failure occurs due to a material or workmanship defect.
- Operating software, including pre-installed or third-party applications, including all firmware updates
3. Warranty Services
a. Repairs and Replacements:
During the warranty period, Clevertouch/Boxlight will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective product or parts at no charge. Replacement products or parts may be new or refurbished.
b. Technical Support:
Clevertouch/Boxlight provides technical support for troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues during the warranty period.
c. Shipping Costs: for products not covered by on-site warranty
Within the first 30 days of the warranty period, Clevertouch/Boxlight will cover all shipping costs for approved warranty claims.
After 30 days, customers may be responsible for one-way shipping to an authorised service centre.
4. Warranty Claim Process

- Provide proof of purchase, including the original receipt or invoice.
- Describe the issue and any troubleshooting steps already taken.
- Follow the instructions provided by the support team to return the product if necessary.
5. Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty is valid only for Clevertouch/Boxlight products purchased through authorised resellers. It does not cover:
- Products that the customer has not purchased from Clevertouch/Boxlight or an authorised Clevertouch/Boxlight Channel Partner
- Products damaged as a result of their use with third-party products or software applications
- Products that are modified and/or used in a way they are not designed to be
- Products deliberately or accidentally damaged, howsoever caused, including but not limited to misuse; abuse; loss or damage caused by fire, natural disasters, war, acts of violence or riots; the relocation of equipment; products in transit; power failures or fluctuations in power supplies; extreme environment (including extreme temperature or humidity); extreme physical or electrical stress or interference; substandard installation or repair completed
- For items such as brackets and fittings which may be included in the packaging and which may be utilised for the affixing of a warrantied product
- Products with the serial number removed or defaced.
- Products used outside the intended environment or application.
- Product servicing or repairs not authorised by Clevertouch/Boxlight.
6. Regional Warranty
6.1 - This warranty covers Clevertouch/Boxlight products only in the following regions: the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Sweden, Germany, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates. Due to logistical and legal constraints, warranty services may vary by region. For any other region, customers should contact one of our many partners to obtain a copy of their warranty for the Clevertouch products they have purchased.
6.2 - Clevertouch/Boxlight will not be held liable when a Partner does not service warranty claims or service levels offered independently by its resellers.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
Except as explicitly stated in this document, Clevertouch/boxlight disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Clevertouch/boxlight’s liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective products. In no event shall Clevertouch/Boxlight be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law
This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, which will have the final say in all matters related to this warranty.
9. Updates to Warranty Policy
Clevertouch/Boxlight reserves the right to modify this warranty policy anytime. The updated policy will apply to all purchases made after the effective date of the change.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1—Clevertouch/Boxlight reserves the right to reserve replacement products that are of equal calibre to the original product or better but are not required to be new. They may be fully functional refurbished/repaired products.
10.2 - Clevertouch/Boxlight reserves the right to charge for any services it delivers in servicing a claim that contravenes any of these Terms & Conditions. The customer will be notified when the service is booked/ordered if a charge is likely to apply. If, at a later date, it establishes it has serviced a claim which in actuality was in contravention of the applicable Terms & Conditions, including no-fault being found,
10.3 – Clevertouch/Boxlight reserves the right to invoice the customer for parts, products, labour and other expenses incurred in servicing the claim. In addition to the remedies which we may have as a matter of law, failure to pay the invoice could lead to Clevertouch/Boxlight refusing to service any future claims from the customer until such time as the invoice is paid.
10.4 – Clevertouch/Boxlight reserves the right to request photographic evidence of the defective product and/or the site where the faulty product is located before service commences.
10.5—Dead on Arrival (DOA) Provision for Customers: A product qualifies as a DOA if it fails within 30 days of purchase from the delivery date.
