Clevertouch | Quick Tips | Setting up the Clevertouch screen to use CleverLauncher to allow for optimal app and user management

We understand that there are cases where you have multiple users on a single screen. To allow the use of the MDM's app installation features - it can be difficult to manage apps via the MDM. To work around this, this will be your guide to setup your screen via CleverLauncher, to allow better management of the system.

1. Connect your screen to your CleverLive account: Follow this guide here

2. After this, your data will be syncing - below the cloud icon will be the settings cog, press this and then press "Update CleverLauncher" 

3. Once this has been updated, it will prompt two times for installation, then appears a black box with 2 options. From here, select CleverLauncher. (We recommend using the "Always" option if prompted to stay within the CleverLauncher so users cannot access the original OS) 

4. Now you can see the base launcher OS - this can be edited, but now we want to make sure that the system works as intended. 

5. From here, go to "Clevertouch MDM" on the OS' app list and add this screen to your account, using the steps here: Follow this guide here 

Now that the MDM has been setup and the Cleverlauncher has been setup also, now you can manage the commands through the MDM but also manage the apps via MDM and CleverLauncher. App management can be completed through the CleverLive platform - all of the guides for this can be found here.

Now your screen can have multiple users, while allowing for app management for each of the accounts listed on your CleverLive users section.
