Clevertouch | CleverLauncher | App Element Zone – Clevertouch Support

App Element Zone’s are used for adding any sort of application the user will interact with on their Launcher. Before you can add an application to your Launcher you firstly need to import the application to your CleverLive profile.

Navigate to the Apps section found on the top navigation bar of the CleverLive profile or by going to the following URL: www.cleverlive.com/app_repository_items
In the apps section click on the CleverLive Store option found in the sub top navigation bar to import apps from CleverLive Store to your profile.
The CleverLive Store is home to a wide range of applications curated by CleverTouch. For this guide we will be importing Lynx Whiteboard. This can be found quickly through using the search box on the right of the top navigation bar.
To import click on the app icon then on the “Plus” icon in the sub top navigation bar.
Once the app has been imported to your CleverLive profile return to the editor for the Launcher by clicking on “Interfaces” in the top navigation bar and selecting the option “Launchers”.
Click on the pencil icon under tile of the Launcher you wish to edit.
In the editor ensure the padlock is in the unlocked state in the toolbar and scroll to the right using the arrow button until you see the Android robot icon.
Select one of the numbered options to name your app element zone from the menu and click on save to add the App Element Zone. You should now see a green android robot icon on your Launcher canvas.
To define which app this zone will link to, double click on the app icon.
From the drop down menu titled “Assign app” select the application you wish to link to this zone. Click on Save to confirm your selection.
Once the application has been added you can click on the app zone and drag it around the canvas or select the red edge dots to resize the icon as desired for your customised Launcher.
