After a factory reset of your UX Pro Edge or during first setup, follow the below steps to enroll the Edge into Intune.
- Visit “intune.microsoft.com” and sign in. Make sure your Google Play account is linked to Intune. Select “Devices”.
- Select “Android”.
- Select “Android enrollment”.
- Select the option you want under “Enrollment Profiles”. For this example, I am using “Corporate-owned dedicated devices”.
- Select “Create profile”.
- Fill in the fields with your information and select “Next”.
- Select “Create”.
- Select your created profile.
- Select “Token”.
- Select “Show token”.
- Note down your token as you will need this for later.
- Return to your UX Pro Edge and select “Start”.
- Enter “afw#setup” and select “Next”.
- Select “Next”.
- Enter the token you had noted down from earlier and select “Next”.
- Select “Accept & continue”.
- Select “Next”.
- Select “Accept”.
- Select your preferred navigation method (Traditional is recommended).
- Wait for Intune to enrol the device.
*DO NOT TURN THE SCREEN OFF AFTER THIS STEP*
Adding your screen to a group
- On your Intune home page select “Groups”.
- Select “New Group”.
- Copy the following group information (using your own group name) and select “Create”.
- Select your group.
- Select “View group members”.
- Select “Add Members”.
- Select your UX Pro Edge & click “Select”
- Your UX Pro Edge will now be added to your group.
Application Setup
Intune removes applications so you need to make sure the following Clevertouch apps are not removed. Follow the steps below. (This only needs to be done if you are using Android For Work)
- On your Intune home page select “Apps”.
- Select “Android”.
- Select “Add”.
- Open the dropdown menu on the right and select “Android Enterprise system app”.
- Click “Select”.
- Enter the “Name”, “Publisher” and “Package name”, then select “Next”.
- On this page you will assign the application to either a group, all users or all devices then select “Next”.
- Review the information you entered and then select “Create”.
- After the application has been added, you will be brought to the applications overview. Select “Android | Android apps”.
- From here, you can see that the application has been assigned to the group/users/devices you have chosen.
- Once all applications below have been added and assigned, you can continue onto the next step.

Configuration Policy Setup
- Select “Devices”
- Select “Configuration”.
- Select “Create”, then “New Policy”.
- Select “Android Enterprise” for Platform & “Device Restrictions” for Profile type. Select “Create”.
- Enter a name and select “Next”.
- Select “Device experience”. In the first dropdown select “Kiosk mode”. In the second dropdown select “Multi-app” then select “Add”.
- In the menu on the right-hand side, select the following apps then click “Select”.
- Select “Next”.
- Select “Add groups” then select your group and click “Select” then “Next”.
- Select “Create”.
*You may need to wait up to 1 hour for the changes to take effect*
